The crushed alder cones give the aquarium water a natural brownish color and also slightly lower the PH value depending on how they are added. It also has an antibacterial effect, works against spawn fungus and has been proven to reduce fungi and any other pathogens.
Our recommendation: Put one bag per 300 liters of aquarium water directly into the aquarium, filter or filter tank. Alternatively, a bag can be scalded with a liter of boiling water and the liquid can be dosed.
Note: Alder cones are packed in a natural tea bag and can burst if left in the aquarium for a long time. One bag corresponds to approximately 30-35 finely ground alder cones
